Step 5: Alright now, go to the DNS server setting and change the value of Preferred DNS server to 8 8 8 8 and the value of Alternate DNS server to 8 8 4 4.

Step 7: Finally close your all windows and reboot the system. Now check if discord is working fine or not.

Method 5: Change the server’s voice region

This might be the case in the different continent regions. If the server has a different voice region than your server, you will face this issue.

For that ask the admin of the server, you are trying to connect to set a different voice region. For that, he can go to the server setting and then to the server region.

Method 6: Disable QoS from Voice & Video Settings

This is another method to solve the issue. Some systems are not compatible with the high package priority quality of service. Disabling the Qos from voice and video might help you. Follow the steps below to do it.

Step 1: At first open the discord software. Now, look at the bottom left corner. Here click on the gear icon.

Step 2: Further click on the app settings and search for the Voice and video.

Step 3: Now, here search for the quality of service. Disable the toggle button near it.

Step 2: Here type the ‘cmd’ in the run box. Now open the command prompt as an administrator.

Step 3: Further type the ‘ipconfig /release’. This will release your current IP configuration.
